ESNNA prevention policies

The Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo(MINCETUR), in its efforts to prevent the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) in the tourism sector, is working to raise awareness among various groups, including domestic and foreign tourists, tourism service providers, regional and local authorities, teachers, tourism students, schoolchildren, and the community at large. Its objective is to raise awareness about the serious problem of SECNNA in the country, implementing actions aimed at preventing and eradicating this crime.

Our Policy

At JK Travel & Exhibition, in compliance with national and international laws on the prevention of sexual exploitation of minors, and following the policy of the Peruvian Government, we are committed to:

  • We will not promote child sex tourism through the design of our tour packages and by selecting and evaluating responsible suppliers. Furthermore, as part of our supplier disqualification criteria, we consider supporting human exploitation, especially sexual exploitation, particularly when it involves minors.
  • We will raise awareness and train our employees in the prevention of the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
  • We will inform our clients and suppliers about our policy for preventing the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
  • We will report any act of sexual exploitation or abuse against minors to the competent authorities if we become aware of it.
  • We will prohibit the dissemination of pornographic material involving minors by our employees or suppliers (guides, cooks, drivers, etc.).
  • We will reject the use of our social media to disseminate or share illegal material related to minors.
  • We will implement measures to prevent our employees from offering tourist guidance or promoting sexual contact with minors.
  • We will inform our clients about the legislation that penalizes the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
  • Publicly display our policy for preventing the sexual exploitation of minors, both digitally and in print, in a location visible to our customers.
